Magic: the Gathering is a strategy-based card game where land (swamps, islands, forests, mountains and plains) constitute the backbone of your spellcasting power. Land cards are the most plentiful cards you can imagine, meaning they get seen by a zillion players. Getting to do land cards is a big deal. I still feel pretty happy with these paintings, though I (like any good artist) see all sorts of problems now. Whatever. 'twas a learning experience.

once again Im amazed by the color scheme, and I like the perspective you have used. It really shows how evem though Ravnica is supposed to be entirely covered in cityscape, it sill had abundant growth. Very nicely done!
This is one of my favorite pieces on the planet. I've drooled over it since I saw the promotional material for that set. If you release a book of your art, PLEASE let me know. Ditto for tutorials.
