Doing this card (yep, another Magic card) made me think of the work we did way back during Urza's Saga. I got to do a lot of the design work for the island of Argoth. One of the critters I designed I called a Crown-Eater: it was a huge bug, big enough for a howdah to fit comfortably on its back, that spent the days under the cover of the forest and at night climbed claw over claw like a chameleon to feast on the foliage of the highest trees. R&D changed the name (the usually did). I didn't get to illustrate any of 'em but am proud to say rk post did, and its a beautiful card.

Maybe these critters are cousins? Who can say? 'twas done in Painter 6, for those who are interested in such things.
